Where To Stay...

Careyes hotel (www.elcareyesresort.com). The hotel is 30min south of Playa Jaibas. Their rates are a little pricey, but it is a very nice place and we think that is totally worth the price, specially because we got a block of rooms reserved with 20% off.  Just think that you would pay the same price for any decent hotel in New York city, although you won't get the private beach there. To make your reservation just send an email to careyes@careyeshotel.com and mention that you are part of the group "Dani & Luis".

Las Alamandas hotel (www.lasalamandas.com). The hotel is 5 min north of Playa Jaibas. Their rates are VERY pricey. This is a very, very, very nice place, but not sure it is worth the price.  Just in case you want to live la vida loca!

La Enramada (aka "the priests' place").  La Enramada is 5 min south of Playa Jaibas. A humble retreat for catholic priests, without any luxuries, but with love, sea and kids. Prices are very reasonable, and they include food. Rooms are very limited and almost all are gone (bride's family took them all!), but ask us just in case.

Cheap hotels. Well, there are some other cheap places in Perula, a town 15min south of Playa Jaibas, but they are not necessarily "nice". This is a very small town with not many attractions, but if you are adventurous, this may be your place. Let us know if you want more info.
